Today I got our lift for the prototype at about 6:45pm this evening. I’m extremely stoked to finally have an operational lift after numerous attempts at getting corporate sponsorship for one of the more expensive options. This lift is a great LCD lift from Wood Technology that runs about $400, and is very quiet. You can check out it’s spec’s on their website, and see some examples of their lifts incorporated into designs. They came to CEDIA this year, and put on a good showing. They definitely have the most economical offering in the screen lift market.
I took a video of our lift’s first voyage out from its home. Here it is, preserved for posterity.
I know, not inherently exciting in and of itself, but I was ecstatic. I stood and pushed the remote back and forth at least 15 times before I came over to update this post. Totally worth going deeper in debt.
We’ll be installing it tomorrow. Hooah.
Congrats! Exciting!
Indeedy!
I know this came out some time ago but I just came across it. Thanks for the positive comments on our lift. We just intoduced several new models.
All the best,

Very cool, Mark! Yeah, you bet, I was more than pleased with the value of the lift. As of right now, I believe you guys are the market leader for value. It’s quieter than Auton’s lifts and a far better value than Inca’s. Nice work all around.
Take care,
Bill
For a long period, Tiger Woods was certainly one of my heroes. He epitomized superiority. Okay, I’m not excellent, however when a heroic public figure is found to be so tarnished, it can take the hero out of heroism. Just about all one has left is “-ism” — idiot, dumb, moron. Is he a fantastic golfer? Without a doubt he’s. Probably he will always be viewed as one of the best out of them all.
